We make shirts for the name you were born with: the surname your family passes down and the heritage you carry with you.
Who we are
NameThreads is the online store of Namezily LLC, a small company founded in 2025 in New Mexico, USA. We design personalized apparel for families and expats: surname shirts, family reunion sets and "living in America" heritage designs for people from all over the world.
What we build
Most personalized shirts are typed text dropped on a template. We built our own design engine instead. Every surname in our catalog of more than 56,000 names is rendered as artwork: layout, letter spacing and size are fitted to that exact name, so a short name like LEE and a long one like FITZGERALD both fill the design the way a designer would set them by hand.
We use AI tools, including Claude, across the business: to build and maintain this engine, to write and check the product catalog, and to run customer support and operations with a very small team.
How your order is made
Nothing sits in a warehouse. When you order, your name is rendered into a print-ready file, and your shirt is printed on demand by our production partners in the United States, the United Kingdom or the European Union, whichever is closest to you, and shipped straight to you. Less waste, and every piece is made for one person.
